Dr. Kimlyn Long is a board-certified plastic and reconstructive surgeon with over two decades of experience blending surgical precision with whole-person care. Currently Assistant Professor of Surgery at Hofstra/Northwell, she brings together surgical excellence with lifestyle medicine to help patients look better, feel better, and live with vitality.
MEDICAL TRAINING & LEADERSHIP
Her journey began at Howard University (undergraduate and MD), followed by rigorous training at North Shore University Hospital, Cleveland Clinic Foundation, and fellowship programs at Emory University Hospital. She holds a Certificate in Surgical Leadership from Harvard University and has served as Associate Director of the Burn Service and Global Health Steering Committee Member.
Through global health missions in South America, Uganda, and the Caribbean, Dr. Long has led community breast cancer screening programs and recently established a non-profit organization to foster kindness in medicine.
